Startup …

Today, Rotofix team started a project which seeks to gather around it all passionate professionals who are regularly maintaining rotating equipment, through a blog (hosted by www.rotofix.ro website) intending to share international best practices on rotating equipment maintenance, whether pumps, electric motors, centrifugal compressors, turbines, hydro, thermal or gas, etc.

Therefore, we aim to build a common understanding of maintenance issues we have encountered on rotating equipment (discussing mechanical unbalance concern, and other common defects). So, we plan to include topics about rotor runout, balancing procedures, balancing tolerances, mechanical looseness, rubbing, mechanical seals, dry gas seals and the list will remain opened.

We would appreciate your initiatives to discuss a particular issue or if you want to include one of your reference works  into our blog ! And, then, we will be honored reaching our intended goal!
